A pre-emptive "fuck right off" for anyone that says David Speedie. Got us over the line in 93. Similarly Lee Chapman was part of the trio that kept us up when we looked doomed the following season.

Whereas...
Mido
Richard Garcia
Sofiane
Katan
Labant
Chamakh
Calleri
Zaza
all failed through lack of talent or attitude.

Bloody hell, this is depressing.

Re: Worst Hammers 11
I like it when these type of threads come up as it reminds me of the shit loads of absolute dross we have signed over the years. One thing is for sure though, Roberto has actually displaced McKnight as our worst ever keeper and that takes some doing!

Ha Ha, Mido and McCarthy what a pair of fat useless cunts they were, had the displeasure of seeing them waddle about for us at Burnley! Even with those two wankers playing, we weren't as bad at Burnley as we were the other week, even though we lost. That's how bad it has got!

Suker, Dumitrescu, Radiciou, Benni McArthy, ,Didn't we loan Sasa Illic? Mind you even he wasn't as incompetent as Roberto.

Re: Worst Hammers 11
I have particularly bad memories of Mike Small, who at least got the odd goal, even if he was a massive donkey. Not as bad as those of Gary Breen, but any cunt who'd seen him before he joined knew how that would end up.

Wayne Quinn was so bad, I don't think he played professionally ever again after us.

Worst player I've ever seen, made Roberto look like gordon banks.

Rigobert SONG was pretty shit, anyone remember him trying to dribble the ball through his own penalty area, which led to a goal?

Yes! That's the guy from Man U I couldn't remember.
In amongst all that shit, he was still THAT unmemorable...

Ha Ha I had forgotten how awful he was.

we've only got one Song.... thank feck for that!

Re: Worst Hammers 11
Wayne Quinn went to Penzance after leaving such an indelible mark with just 22 apperances for us. I kid you not he is now manager at a team called Mousehole.

Can anyone actually believe that Quinn won an England B cap in 1998?

I can't believe no one has mentioned Titi Camara. He was fucking useless.

And Kieron Dyer, although not a shit player, was shit and expensive for us.

Paul Hilton?

Re: Worst Hammers 11
Rigobert Song wouldn't have been that bad a player, if he had had a better grasp of his own limitations.

Thought he was capable of dribbling his way out of tight situations, despite it going, well, Rigobert, time after time.

I totally agree. Despite not scoring in his time with us he beefed up our attack and laid a few on. I believe his debut in 1976 was against Liverpool and we unexpectedly beat them 2-0, for the first time in ages, because he dominated their defence.
